VINTAGE 2006

The vine-producing season 2005-2006 finally ended, after a long harvest out of which we expect good quality wines, great colour and fruit intensity.
The information from our meteorological central indicates that we had a cold and dry season. In our meteorological terminal at the San Antonio Valley, the thermal addition accumulated between the months of October 2005-April 2006, measured in Degrees-Day (Base 10º C), was inferior to the same record corresponding to the harvest.

Despite that, the ripening progress was slower in the different stages like flowering, curdling and painting and a delay in the phenolic ripness of two weeks average.

All the varieties reach its optimum ripeness. The Sauvignon Blanc show exotic notes, the Chardonnay are fresh and with much body and the Pinot Noir have a freshness never reached before with an explosion of red fruits in nose and soft and firm tannins in mouth.
