VINTAGE 2007

General Aspects
The white varieties were picked 1 to 2 weeks earlier than usual, although the aromas generally developed later than normal. The grapes maintained very low pH and good acidity, which allowed us to harvest with good flavor and aromatic balance.

Production
Las variedades blancas Chardonnay y Sauvignon blanc presentaron desde un 10% a un 25% menos de rendimiento que lo estimado. En el caso del Pinot noir esta disminución bordeó el 30%.

Phenology
Erratic behavior was observed in the white varieties during budbreak and flowering, although both the veraison and harvest were earlier than normal.

Climate
The winter months presented normal precipitation close to 500 mm (19.7 in). Average temperatures fluctuated between 16 and 17 C (61 63 F), and the average low temperatures between 6 and 7 C (43 45 F), with frosts.

Spring precipitation was low and did not register frost.

The summer was normal, with average temperatures of approximately 23 C (73 F). There were no frosts but some precipitation in February, but with no effect on the quality of the grapes.
